Reid is a Senior Designer at Alison Brooks Architects with a background in higher education, residential, and cultural design. He has joined the team in 2021 from the US and Ireland as a key 3D design and delivery architect. He brings 9 years of expertise in BIM and providing a critical role in international project delivery with local partners. Since joining he has become a key member of the Cadence project delivery team during its technical design and construction. Reid acts as technical lead and Client Liaison with responsibility for a number of critical envelope packages for this fully prefabricated mixed use tower in central London.

His previous professional experience includes two years as lead project architect on a major cultural project in the USA which consisted of a campus masterplan and six separate buildings of diverse construction typology and programme. Prior to this, he worked for five years as a senior associate specializing in residential and mixed-use higher education work in California. His design build experience with UC San Diego’s One Mesa Graduate and Professional Housing master plan, consisting of three separate phases, provided a unique fast tracked design to completion approach with exceptional value for money to the client.
